# Treasury

> What the protocol earns and where it goes.

A standing portion of the rake is routed to the **Auora community treasury**, an on-chain address whose balance and outflows are publicly auditable.

## What the treasury funds

* **Bug bounty payouts.** Real cash for real findings, paid from a publicly visible balance.
* **Audits.** Continued independent security review as the contract surface grows.
* **Oracle fees.** The protocol pays the oracle network for the signed data it consumes.
* **Integrations and grants.** Bounties for builders integrating Auora markets into other products.
* **Liquidity bootstrapping for new markets.** Seeded pots so new markets are immediately playable.
* **Operations and infrastructure.** Servers, monitoring, on-call, and the people who keep the lights on.

## What the treasury does not fund

* Insider buybacks
* Off-chain marketing kickbacks
* Anything that cannot be defended in a public post

## Transparency

The treasury address will be published in this section once the production deployment is finalized. All inflows and outflows are visible on a public block explorer. We will publish a quarterly treasury report summarizing receipts, expenditures, and balance.
