# Fees

> What Auora charges, and what it doesn't.

## What we charge

A single, flat, published **rake** on each round's pot. The exact percentage is shown on every market page and is enforced by the smart contract. It is the same for every player on every round.

## What we do not charge

* **No deposit fee.** Funds move directly from your wallet into a round.
* **No withdrawal fee.** Winnings move directly back to your wallet at settlement.
* **No spread.** There is no order book, so there is no spread to widen.
* **No "priority" fees.** No player can pay extra for better odds, earlier information, or settlement priority.
* **No VIP rebates.** A whale and a first-time player pay the same rake.
* **No subscription.** There is no premium tier and no membership.
* **No KYC fees.** We do not run a KYC funnel and we do not charge for it.
* **No inactivity fees.** We are not a bank, and your wallet is yours.

## Why one number

Every "creative" fee structure we have ever seen in this space — discounts, rebates, tiers, points programs, gas refunds, "priority lanes" — has eventually been used to give insiders an edge over retail. We chose a single, immutable rake on purpose, because the simplest fee structure is also the hardest one to abuse.
